Features of the device
A simple, single use disposable that concentrates peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) using a unique filter-based technology. As blood flows through the device, PBMC are selectively captured on the surface of the filter and then backflushed into a smaller volume, creating a PBMC concentrate. The concentrate can then be injected as a treatment at the injury site, or in joints for osteoarthritis. This device has several advantages over other techniques:
